Spring is springing on Ecology Lane. First came the daffs, which are miraculously reproducing & popping up in bunches where I thought I had only put a few. Now the forsythia is bursting out shamelessly. Temperatures are still erratic. The wood stove is going in the barn and rain is forecast for next couple of days. That's fine. We really need it. I just wish it would come down reasonably instead of pounding down in "gully warshing" torrents that gouge ditches in the driveway. But hey, water is good. Until it isn't.
